Inauguration of YBI – RVCE Chapter
YBI officially got inaugurated in the RVCE on 19th April 2012 by Justice N Santosh Hegde, former Justice of Supreme court of India, former Solicitor General of India and former Lokayukta of Karnataka.
He was accompanied by Mr.Mahima Patel son of former Chief Minister of Karnataka J.H.Patel. Participation of Principal Dr.B.S.Satyanarayana , Vice Principal Dr.S.Satyanarayana, HODs and faculty members of various departments added more value to the program. There was good response from students as well. IEM auditorium got completely filled andfew students who came late couldn’t even enter inside as there was no place for them.

Program started with welcome speech after which there was a brief introduction about YBI. Guests then inaugurated the YBI in RVCE by lighting the lamp, along with that they also released official video of YBI. After releasing the video Principal Dr.B.S.Satyanarayana spoke about youth power and also gave few suggestions on balancing social responsibilities along with academic responsibilities. Then Justice N.Santosh Hegde addressed the gathered which was most interesting part of the program. His speech aimed at creating awareness in youth about corruption where he gave 360 degree view of corruption right from days of freedom struggle to present day.
He also included the problems that people are facing in our country because of corruption. He emphasized on anti-corruption activities in present day situation and Anna Hazare movement. Finally he suggested suitable measures that youth should follow in order to eradicate corruption.
Following this there was another thought-provoking speech by Mr.Mahima Patel who told about his vision of making India a country without written constitution which created a ray of hope in the minds of many who had gathered there. After this the main event of the day an interactive session with guests started off where many students got satisfying answers for their questions. Finally program was brought to an end by vote of thanks followed by national anthem Jana Gana Mana….

Internship Fair on 12th May
National Entrepreneurship Network and R.V College Of Engineering (RVCE), Bangalore are delighted to invite you to participate in the “Internship fair” being organized at RVCE, Bangalore on 12th May 2012.
Internship fair provides a platform for organizations and students to interact with each other. It is an opportunity for organizations to present their venture to the students, and in turn, the students get exposed to exciting ventures with whom they can possibly intern and learn a lot, over a two – month period (June to August). 400 students (from 1st, 2nd & 3rd Year) of B-Tech, of the institute will be participating in the start-up Fair.
